Uniquement des produits commerciaux réellement vendus et réellement utilisés à grande échelle. Ce qui est jugé, c’est le produit lui-même — ni la capitalisation de l’entreprise, ni la légende du fondateur. Six attributs, un score OVR, et des portraits qui allument la liste un produit à la fois.
La méthode de notation
Chaque attribut est noté de 0 à 99, puis pondéré en un score global OVR (Originalité 20 % · Échelle 20 % · Impact 15 % · Expérience 15 % · Business 15 % · Durabilité 15 %). Classement par OVR décroissant. La grande différence avec le classement des personnes, c’est la durabilité : les produits meurent, et un produit mort ne peut pas bien noter sur cet axe — la Model T, le Walkman et la Famicom y perdent des places, volontairement. La roue n’est pas notée : pas d’entreprise, pas de marque, pas de prix, et personne à créditer. Elle est là pour rappeler que l’histoire des produits est bien plus ancienne que celle du commerce — ce classement ne commence à compter qu’au jour où quelqu’un en a vécu.
